Commercial Consumer Developer - Developers focused on creating software and solutions targeting the consumer market including games, multimedia, productivity software and news applications.
Corporate Developer - Developers focused on writing software and solutions for use within their own organization and customized to meet the needs and requirements of internal users.
Business (CIOs) - The chief decision and strategy makers for IT implementation and innovations.
Application Architects and Designers - Architects and Designers are focused on understanding the higher level concepts of the BlackBerry platform for optimal design and architecture of their applications.
Hobbyist - Hobby developers are focused on combining their passion for what they love with developing web, widget or native applications on the BlackBerry platform.

Introductory: These sessions include overviews of a technology and introductions into new areas and do not require previous knowledge of a particular product or technology.
Intermediate: These sessions provide a deeper dive into a technology or product. They go beyond the basics and are aimed at developers already familiar with a technology.
Advanced: These sessions assume an advanced understanding of a technology or product.
General: These sessions are not technical in nature and can be attended by all attendees, regardless of their experience developing for BlackBerry.

Java - Sessions focused on writing applications using Java ME for both MIDP/CLDC and BlackBerry specific APIs.
